For medium-voltage cables used in wind farms, manufacturing facilities, or commercial buildings, it is critical that they are installed in a short-circuit-proof manner. In the event of a short circuit, extreme electromagnetic forces can be generated, causing unsecured cables to whip violently or break free from their supports. This not only poses a serious risk of damage to equipment but can also be life-threatening.

HELUKABEL offers a wide range of cable clamps specifically designed to prevent this type of damage. Engineered for the installation of single- and multi-core power cables, as well as medium- and high-voltage cables, these clamps provide short-circuit-proof performance with strength ratings up to 30,000 N, depending on the model. They are built to withstand short-circuit forces up to 200 kA and are highly resistant to oils, greases, aggressive chemicals, ozone, salts, acids, nuclear radiation, and extreme cold. This ensures that cable installations remain secure, durable, and compliant with international safety standards, including IEC 61914 and UL.
