Heat-Resistant Single Conductor with UL Approval and Metric Cross Section

In many cases, extreme temperatures pose a significant challenge for electrical connections in applications ranging from HVAC systems to specialized uses in mechanical and industrial plant engineering. In response, HELUKABEL is launching its new HELUTHERM single conductor UL Style 3512. This new single conductor features a metric cross section, and its silicone insulation makes it suitable for use in temperatures up to 200 °C. Its UL and CSA approvals also open the door for use in many countries.

Thanks to its wide temperature range, the HELUTHERM single conductor UL Style 3512 is suitable for installation in electric heaters and for use in coating applications. This silicone-insulated single conductor is approved for both flexible applications and permanent installations at temperatures up to 200 °C. It features a nominal voltage rating of 600 V per UL/CSA and 1,000 V per VDE, and it is both halogen-free and flame-retardant, making it well suited for applications with strict fire safety requirements.

The HELUTHERM single conductor UL Style 3512 is available in cross sections ranging from 0.5 to 240 mm². Its metric cross section allows users to continue using familiar calculations and components. Thanks to its UL approval, this single conductor can be used in all countries where UL certifications are accepted, significantly simplifying procurement and inventory management for export-oriented customers. For easy identification, the conductors are available in a wide range of jacket colors.
