New, Robust Drag Chain for Industrial Applications

The PLASTIC LINK 4-45 features an inner height of 45 mm and an inner width of up to 400 mm—making it suitable for everything from traditional mechanical engineering and intralogistics to packaging systems, automotive equipment, and indoor crane operations.

A key highlight is the drag chain’s stable four-stop system. This design supports long, self-supporting travel distances and ensures consistent energy transmission, even under dynamic motion and heavy loads. Snap-in connectors with undercut geometry provide strong segment connections that resist lateral stress while remaining easy to handle during assembly.

Its polygon-optimized bend radii minimize operating noise—a critical benefit in noise-sensitive production environments. Directional stability is also improved by its structured inner and outer walls, which can be adapted to match the drag chain’s preload requirements.

Ease of installation was a top priority during development. The frame stays open and close easily, reducing both installation and maintenance time. Modular separators allow tool-free cable access from both sides and can be arranged flexibly. Inner shelving supports stacking up to five rows high and wide, enabling custom routing for cables and hoses.

For sliding applications, optional glide surfaces are available. Strain relief can also be integrated using steel clamp brackets or tension relief systems to enhance operational reliability.

With its modular flexibility and rugged construction, the HELUCHAIN® PLASTIC LINK 4-45 meets the highest standards for durability, ease of installation, and system security—making it an excellent fit for a wide variety of industrial applications.
